Christmas has come and gone as quickly as the next one will be here. It is just amazing how quick 2010 went by.
Well Christmas was definitely wonderful as always. Zach and I got to see everyone. Even though most of our time was spent on the road... we wouldn't change it. Christmas for us started Christmas Eve at 2pm. Zach had to work (boo!) but as soon as he got off we headed to the big town of Greenwood.
It has become a tradition on Christmas Eve to attend a candle light service at church and then we head out to the Shorty's moms house. All the adults play "Dirty Santa." It was a good year. Almost all the gifts were dead. After a few hours (literally) of playing we headed back to the house to get ready for Christmas morning. We were just hanging out and all of a sudden "Santa" walks out.
How funny?!?!?!?! Shorty use to dress up as Santa on Christmas Eve but since everyone is older he hasn't done it in a while. I do believe this suit needs to be RETIRED!!!! He kind of looked like George Washington with a red coat on. Anyways... it was TOO FUNNY!
We woke up Christmas morning to a white Christmas. Greenwood didn't get as much as some areas in Mississippi but there was snow on the ground and it was Christmas morning. Sounds like a white Christmas to me! This picture really doesn't show much snow but it was so pretty. Zach took Brooklee out to see the snow.
We all got up very early and started to get everything ready for our brunch/pajama Christmas at Aunt Vicki and Uncle Tommy's. This year we decided to keep it casual. We all wore our pajamas had yummy brunch foods. Brooklee was all ready to go! She was so cute in her little pjs and slippers.
Me, Shorty and Brooklee ready to head to Sardis.
There were present everywhere!!! Just waiting to be opened and that is exactly what we did as soon as everyone got there.
Brooklee had so much fun opening gifts. She would pull things out of the bags one at a time and just check it out. One this she got was this....
she was so funny. She walked up to it and immediately pulled out the bench, sat down and started playing. She LOVES it!
After Christmas in Sardis, it was time to head to Big Creek to spend the rest of our time with Zach's family.
This is Casey, Sa (their grandmother) and Zach Christmas afternoon.
Zach excited about his 7 in one smoker. Can't wait for me to put it together and cook something.
I got this fabulous pea coat and scarf. Just love it!
Now we have to wait 12 more months before we get to shower each other with gifts. It will be here in a blink of an eye!
