A sweet friendship refreshes the soul. Proverbs 27:9

One thing that Zach and I are so blessed with is ABSOLUTELY, AMAZING FRIENDS! We love spending all the time we can with them. Unfortunately, most of them live hours away =(. So, we try to plan visits as often as we can.

We have both had friends come and go in our lives. I think each and everyone one of them helped us become who we are today. We still hold special memories with the friends that have moved on. I thank each and everyone of them for the memories and being a part of my life.

Zach and I come from different towns, different groups, different everything but one thing we have learned to manage and make work is our different group of friends. We both didn't know each others friends when we started dating but over the years "your friends" have become "our friends." I couldn't imagine not having his crazy friends in my life and same thing with him.

I have added a few pictures of some of our friends. I have tons more, of course(Remember, I'm paparazzi, so I have tons of pics) but this post would be extremely long. So, I limited the pics which means all of our friends aren't on here. They are still just as special as all the rest.

Here is a very special group of girls. The bond I have with these girls goes way beyond friendship its what we like to call a "sisterhood." These are my Phi Mu sisters. Brooklee of course isn't a Phi Mu, yet, but will be one day!
I love this pic! This picture is exactly the way this group is! This is Zach, Blaise, Jonathan and Stacey on New Years Eve. Zach and I traveled up to Cleveland to Jonathan and Stacey's to ring in the New Year with them.
Oh, Jonathan! Zach and him are so funny together. They probably talk on the phone more than Zach and I do. They get SOOO excited when they get to see each other. Sometimes I think they are worse than girls are.
Yes, this is my sister and brother-n-law but they are truly some of our best friends. They have been there through thick and thin for me and Zach. This is a picture before the Tacky Christmas Party '09.
These are my girls! LOVE THEM! So wish they were all closer. I could call any of them at anytime and I know they would be there for me. This is Chastity, Neeley, Katie and Kaitland. I had a "Girls Weekend" at the beginning of March. Savannah didn't come with us but she was there the rest of the weekend. Miss them SOOO much and enjoy and look forward to every time we get together.

To all of our friends... Thank you so much for everything that you have done for me and Zach. We, from the bottom of our hearts, appreciate ya'll and are SOO thankful that you are all in our lives.

"A friend is someone who understand your past, believes in your future, and accepts you just the way you are."

Pics

One thing that Zach is very passionate about is weight lifting. He LOVES it. His day gets scheduled around his workouts. He has always had this dream to open his own gym. Well the gym is way off in the future but he has created a website. He would work on this website every second if he could. Yesterday, I asked him to put my massage table in my car. Next thing I know he is on the couch with the computer in his hand. I walked by him, picked up my massive massage table, walked by him again, went outside and back in and he NEVER saw me. I later asked him to put the table in my car and he says "Oh Yeah!"

Today, Zach and I were talking and he asked me to take some photos for his website. Here are a few pictures I took. He wanted them all black and white. I'm pretty proud of the way they turned out.

If you are interested in weight-lifting, supplements and articles pertaining to workout out his website is www.undergroundstrength.net.

Photography

So... I have always had this interest in photography. Zach and my friends like to call me paparazzi. I ALWAYS have a camera in my hand! I love each and every moment with whoever I am with and love to document every second. My photography for my wedding does absolutely amazing work. One thing he does that I just love is wildlife photos. My sister uses this awesome photographer to document Brooklee's 1st year. She has done newborn, 3 months and this past Sunday did her 6 month photos. These two photographers are absolutely 2 of the most TALENTED people! I LOVE looking at their work.

I hope one day to own a great camera to make the average pictures I take and turn them into pieces of art. Here are a few pics that I am pretty proud of.

Pictures say 1000 words. They can express many different meanings and you get from them what you want. Maybe my little Nikon digital camera will hold off until I get one that will help me express my thoughts through pictures.

What next???

Zach and I have had some bad luck with being home owners! There is always something that is going wrong. I will start from the beginning!

Our house came with all the appliances except: fridge, washer and dryer. Thankfully, Zach already had a washer and dryer from college. So all we needed was a fridge! On the way to our closing for the house we stopped at a place called Hudson's. You never know what you find in Hudson's. It is the type of place that if something happens to a store (fire, flood, or going out of business) takes whats left. What do we see when we walk in... a row of FRIDGES!!! Not only did we find a black on that matched the rest of our appliances but it was a steal! GREAT PRICE! So we snatch it up before going to the closing. Britt and Emilee take it to our house and guess what.... it doesn't fit in the door! Well after a door being removed and a little maneuvering. Its in... thank goodness. Well the way they designed the house the light switch is on the wall with the fridge and there is NO way of getting your hand back there to flip the switch. So what do we do to turn the lights on... A wooden spatula! Hey... whatever works!

What happened next... Zach's parents came down to bring all his furniture and the washer and dryer! It took about 2 hours trying to figure out how to get the washer and dryer in. We don't have a laundry room, its more of a laundry closet. Once again doors were removed and maneuvering took place.

Next... A month after moving in we started seeing a leak in our garage. We could not figure out where the leak was coming from. Well come to find out its coming from that oversize, light switch covering fridge! Well my wonderful brother-n-law came to the rescue... so we thought ;)!
One night Zach got home before I did and opened the garage only to find Niagara Falls pouring out! I rushed home to find our kitchen, dining room, guest bedroom, master bedroom and master bathroom and closet about 2 inches under water!!!! AHHHHH!!! Thats all I could say. Our ice maker hose on the fridge came apart and water had been shooting every where all day!!!

Not only do we have problems with appliances we also have problems with wild animals. On pretty days we leave the back door open for fresh air and to let the dogs come in and out as they wish. Well this one day Duke was going crazy. He never barks and this particular day he was barking and barking! I got outside to see what he is barking at to find a HUGE dinosaur related bird perched on our roof. This thing was GIGANTIC!!! If it was standing next to me it probably would have been up to my hips tall. It just sat there and tortured Duke! Finally, this dinosaur related bird decided to leave Duke alone and go away... thank gosh!

Not done yet.... well here recently we have had an issue with a possum! One night Duke wanted out around 1230am. I let him and all of a sudden he started barking like crazy again. So this got Delta fired up. Zach was trying to get the dogs in and started hearing something hissing at the dogs. Next night... same thing! I LOVE MY SLEEP! Possum please go away!!! Zach lifted the grill up and the possum ran out made it five steps then played dead. Duke and Delta messed with it a while until my uncle decided to throw it back over the fence where it belongs! Sleep has been MUCH better!

Last but not least, our kitchen sink is leaking now! Really?!?!? Britt came and worked on it Friday and fixed it, well at least for the weekend. Now, I have a DO NOT USE sign posted until it gets fixed!

Oh the life of a home owner! You never know what is going to happen! We ABSOLUTELY love being home owners and have enjoyed every single incident we have faced. Even those these memories could have been left out of our lives... this is what happens at times!
