38 Weeks!

*38 weeks
*Knox is the length of a leek.
*Energy has been okay. I had enough to get through my work day but as soon as I got home it was hard to keep my eyes open.
*Sleep is still great when I get to sleep but it is hard for me to stay asleep.
*Craving: Fruit and almonds.
*Appetite is good.
*I walked once and got a workout in on Wednesday. Ended up running errands 3 days this week after work so I didn't worry about doing any extra.
*Braxton Hicks are a lot worse during the week when I am at work. I think it is because I am pretty much non-stop from the time I get to work until the time I leave. They are getting slightly more intense and lasting a little longer.
*Driving is becoming very difficult. He likes to cram into my ribs when I am driving. Thankfully, Zach and I ride together 90% of the time, so I let him be the chauffeur.
*I ended up calling the emergency number on Thursday night. I wasn't feeling my wiggle worm move and started getting really paranoid. I drank cold water, ate a snack, did jumping jacks, tried laying still for a while and Zach poking him didn't even get him moving. The doctor on call told me to and I quote... "drink a big ole  sugary/carbonated drink like a coke or sprite." He told me to wait 2 hours and if I still didn't feel him moving to call back and I would have to go in for monitoring. Well, Zach ran to the gas station and picked me up a "Big Ole Sprite." I chugged it and almost threw up. I haven't had any coke products in 21 months! But my little man almost immediately got the hiccups and started bouncing around! Thank goodness!!!!
*My poor right ankle!!! I had some very busy days this week and by the time I got home my right ankle was double its normal size. I absolutely hate it and wish it wouldn't happen but if this is has bad as my pregnancy is going to get... I will deal with it!
*My appointment on Tuesday went great. I am 1cm dilated and at that point my cervix had not start thinning yet. If Knox does not make his debut before June 12th, I will be induced and have him on the 13th of June. Praying that he comes on his on!!!

*Next appointment is June 4th!!!

37 Weeks!

*37 weeks
*Knox is the length of swiss chard.
*Energy is still come and go. I ended up calling in on Wednesday because of being so tired.
*Sleep... I am am really starting to think my body refuses to let me enjoy this anymore. Getting me ready!
*Craving: Fruit and almonds.
*Appetite is good. I get that "I'm so full I can't breathe" feeling after each meal. It passes within the hour but it is very uncomfortable. Sitting is really tough.
*I was able to get in a good workout on Monday, 4 walks in and weed-eat the yard while Zach was mowing this week. It really felt good to get this tired body moving.
*Braxton Hicks contractions have still been going on daily. I was having so many on Monday that I ended up going to the doctor a day early. My doctor wasn't there so I had to see Mr. Non-Personality. I did not care for him one bit but I was confirmed that everything was okay.
*Driving is becoming very difficult. He likes to cram into my ribs when I am driving. Thankfully, Zach and I ride together 90% of the time, so I let him be the chauffeur.
*Knox is still a very active wiggle worm! He usually has the hiccups 2-3 times a day.
*The cankle only came back one day this week! Thank goodness. Still no swelling in the fingers. :)
*I was not dilated any as of Monday.
*Next appointment is May 28th.

We got the pack-n-play put together this morning. It was NOT the easy thing to do. The instructions were not very clear. But we finally got it!
Don't really know why the pic is squished like that. Sorry.

I would post a pic of the final thing but we are washing the bassinet part.

2 MORE WEEKS!!!!!
Knox's super cute camo duffelbag is packed and ready! All we need is for him to decide when he is ready to  make his debut!

36 Weeks!!!

All of you that played in the baby pool on Facebook...
Thanks for playing! I loved reading your guesses!

*36 weeks
*Knox is the size of a crenshaw melon.... I have no clue what this melon is.
*More and more people are starting to notice that I am pregnant. I have not been trying to hide it but when you work in a gym, I typically where loose fitting tops. I wish I could record their reactions when I tell them how far along I am.
*Energy is still come and go. Wednesday was very rough. I don't know how I made it at work all day. I came home and immediately vegged out on the bed for about 1 hour. I was useless.
*Sleep is usually great until about 1-130am. I start waking up at that point and pretty much just lay there until my alarm goes off.
*Lindt 85% dark chocolate, natural PB and banana, oranges, and honeydew melon.
After wanting this for several days, I finally broke down and bought one!
*appetite is still good. I was a bottomless pit on Wednesday. I ate what I had brought for lunch at 730am.
*Braxton Hicks contractions have still been going on daily.
*Knox is still a very active wiggle worm!
*Oh the "cankle"!!! I despise you! Zach can usually squeeze it out but I am SOOO paranoid about it!
*Our 36 week check up went great. We got to see our sweet man.
Here is his precious face. A few people were having trouble picking everything out. It's just his face turned towards the "camera" with his fist underneath his chin. His fist is on the left side moving to the right its his chin, puckered up lips, nose, eyes, forehead and the spiky stuff on the right is his hair. I am interested to see if he will have as much hair as the sonogram showed. Every angle the tech showed of his head was just covered! He looked like a little rock star!
Here is his foot(on the left) and his fist (on the right).
It was so awesome getting to see him. I can't believe how much he has grown since we last saw him at 18 weeks. He weighed in at 5lb 14oz. The doctor said he will probably be in the 7lb range by the time he is here.
*I was not dilated any.
*I have weekly appointments now. Next appointment is May 21st.
*This is my last weekend to work before Knox arrives. I can't believe he will be here in the next couple of weeks.

35 Weeks!

*35 weeks
*Knox is the size of a honeydew melon.... I feel like I have swallowed 3 of these!!!
*my belly is steadily growing! I measured my belly first thing yesterday morning and by the end of the day it was up 1.5 inches. I know this is from eating and drinking lots of water but goodness gracious. I rub tons and tons of oil/lotion on my belly, trying my hardest to prevent stretch marks.
*I only worked out once this week. It's getting harder and harder to get motivated to do anything.
*Energy is still come and go. Some days I feel like all I have energy for is to do nothing while other days I feel like I can conquer the world... but this isn't very often.
*Sleep was great a few nights. Still waking up before my alarm, but I just make myself lay there until it goes off.
*craving banana and natural peanut butter still and honeydew melons, oranges, and strawberries... I could eat a whole bunch of bananas a day but I only limit myself to one!
*appetite is still good. It's amazing how uncomfortable I get after eating. Knox gets so crammed up in my rib cage most of the time after I eat. Sitting is almost unbearable.
*Braxton Hicks contractions have still been going on daily.
*I have read that the bigger he gets the less active he will be because of the lack of room. Well, this little man is a wiggle worm! There were a few days where his movements were so big that it was slightly uncomfortable. BUT... I would rather be uncomfortable than not feel him at all.
*Oh the "cankle"!!! I despise you! Zach can usually squeeze it out but I am SOOO paranoid about it!
*next appointment is May 14th. I should get a sonogram at this appointment. :)

Last Sunday, I got to help give Katie and Baby Avery a shower.
She got a ton of stuff for little Avery. He is one blessed little man.

My sister helped me make this super cute diaper cake. The shower was a nautical theme.
I made chocolate and yellow cupcakes. Too bad almost all of them were ruined by the time I got to the shower. All the icing had slid off! :( I was very sad about it. I wasn't able to eat them since they weren't gluten free but everyone said they were still delicious despite the looks of them.
Katie's sister in law made this super cute boat fruit bowl.
And that's all the pictures I got. I was writing down all the gifts for Katie so I was not able to take pictures like I normally would. I still can't believe that Katie and I are due only 4 days apart! Our pregnancies have been completely different so I will be interested to see which little man makes his appearance first. But all that matters is both of our guys are healthy!!!

babymoon

Zach and I went on a little trip last weekend to the MS Coast. I kept calling this trip our "Babymoon." Zach totally thought I made this word up. I had to confirm that I didn't by good ole Google.

Babymoon- a vacation you take with your spouse before your bundle of joy arrives.

So there, I did not make the word up!

We headed to Biloxi on Thursday after we got off work. The weather was beautiful. We changed clothes and headed to supper.
Then we were very lame and went to bed! Oh the life we live!

We got up on Friday morning and headed down to the condo gym got our workout on and went back to the condo for some grub. We have always gone to the Beau Rivage for breakfast but we decided to switch it up and cook our on breakfast and eat on the balcony. Way better food (don't get me wrong the Beau is DE-LISH-OUS but there is just something about making your own food) and way better view!
Eggs, bacon, fruit and lots of H2O!!!

After breakfast we drove to Pass Christian so Zach could get some shooting in.
I was sitting behind him for the first two shots but Knox jumped so bad after the second one I had to go wait in the waiting room while Zach had all the fun. He did a good job and enjoyed every second of it!

After the shooting range, we went to Gulfport and ate lunch at The Shed. Delicious as always! With full bellies we head to the outlet mall and spent a few hours checking out all the baby stores... and Under Armour of course!
Zach found this little outfit and had to get it. So stinking cute!!

We went to Margaritaville for supper. Which, by the way, has a great gluten-free menu!

On Saturday we drove over to Louisiana and went to the Peacebaker. They are a dedicated gluten free bakery. Everything they bake is gluten free. So absolutely no cross contamination! We splurged and got several yummy treats including gluten free BEIGNETS!!! So yummy!

After the Peacebaker we drove to Folsom, Louisiana to check out the Global Wildlife Center. If you haven't head of this place, Google it!! You ride in wagons around the beautiful place feeding some gorgeous animals.
I just love this picture I got of Zach feeding a Zebra. Too funny.

Me and Zach waiting for our tour.
I can't remember what this animal is but if you don't hold on to your cups tight enough they steal them.
The Zebras were just absolutely beautiful!
I don't know what this little animal is called (they had someone telling us during the tour but I was too busy feeding the animals and taking pics to be paying attention!) but I just love his spiral antlers.
 Zach feeding the animals.
 My turn!
They had giraffes, bison, camels and so much more. The giraffes were to far way and the tractor pulling the wagons we were in couldn't get close to them. BOO!

It was a great trip and I am so thankful we were able to go. We almost talked ourselves out of driving over to Louisiana but I am glad we didn't!

5 MORE WEEKS UNTIL KNOX IS HERE!!!! =)

34 weeks!!

Zach has been begging me to park in the "Expectant Mother" parking spaces at Kroger. I would always refuse. I am perfectly capable of walking from the back of the parking lot to the entrance of the store. Well, yesterday we made an early run to Wal-Mart (this is a once in a blue moon run... we shop at Wal-Mart maybe once every 2-3 months or so). The parking lot was very empty due to the time of day so since I would be parking up close anyways I decided to shock Zach and whip into the "Expectant Mothers" parking. Of course, we had to take a pic. Sorry for the awful pic. No make up and looking very terrible!

*34 weeks
*3rd Trimester!
*Knox is the size of a cantaloupe.
*my belly is steadily growing! I feel like I have doubled in size over the past week.
*I was extremely lazy this week. The only physical activity I did was walk the dogs on Monday.
*energy has been low... and I mean extremely low! I took two naps one afternoon and still slept through the night.
*Sleep was great a few nights and then a few nights it wasn't anywhere to be found.
*craving banana and natural peanut butter still.
*appetite is still good. feeling like a very large stuffed turkey when I get done eating!
*Braxton Hicks contractions have still been going on daily. Some days more than others but still not enough to worry about.
*Knox's 34 week check up went great! His heart rate was in the 140's and my belly measured right on track!
*My "cankle" returned twice this week. Makes me very sad and a little anxious. I don't like any swelling. Once I notice it, I get very paranoid and all I want to do is get home and prop my feet up.
*Knox has still been very active.
*next appointment is May 14th. I should get a sonogram at this appointment. :)
